February 9th, 2009 at 9:44 pmMy wife and I started a mini-tradition on our 10th wedding anniversary when we attended Ben Vereen’s concert in Seattle. For our 20th we saw Ben in Las Vegas, where Ben invited my wife up on stage and sang “The Way You Look Tonight” while holding her hand. For our 30th we saw him once again. As we approach our 40th wedding anniversary (May 31st, 2009) it is my hope to surprise my wife with another opportunity to see him. I notice he will be in San Francisco in mid-May. Is there any possibility of arranging to meet him there?
Any response would be deeply appreciated.

February 19th, 2009 at 9:19 pmHello Mr. Vereen. I had the opportunity to see you in passing on Monday the 9th at the Just A Piano series. I can’t begin to tell you what an honor it was to see one of the first men I can remember for my generation breaking ground and continuing to thrive as a world wide entertainer. I was to shy to stop you when you were leaving to say hello, but you had the most pleasant smile on your face enjoying the evening. I just wanted to say hello and thank you for all of the legendary work that you have done as a humanitarian and as an entertainer.

March 7th, 2009 at 7:17 pmHi Ben,
Just found a picture of us that was taken on the Monarch of the Seas in 1998. Brooks Paxton and What U Need was the band in the April in Paris lounge, and I was their Sound & Light Tech.
Wishing you the best!!
Love and Peace,
